Are you one who has joined the “habitual violators club” when it comes to losing and finding the same 10-20 pounds year after year? There are hundreds of “weight loss” programs out there…many work if you “follow” their plan…for the short term. The problem comes 3-12 months down the road after we have “finished” the programs…that weight slowly seems to find its way back to the belly, hips, and thighs.
Killing our appetites with ex-ternal forces such as diets, powders, or pills don’t seem to work for long. What we need is to heal our appetites using an internal approach. If we never deal with the emotional triggers that make us put that candy bar in our mouth, or ruin a “good eating” day with a whole bag of chips, then we will continue to go back to gaining and losing the same 20 pounds over and over again.
There is a way to love this journey called life in the body we desire to have. Once we understand what our emotional triggers are and why we crave the foods we do…the urge to overeat will not overwhelm us again. Find out how our entire body, including our appetite, actually reflect the level of peace of mind in our lives.
